I'm going to be leaving this great city soon. There are a bunch of things that I want to do before I'm gone. You guys should come, too. Even if you don't want to go with me, if some of this stuff sounds fun, just show up. And, if you're from out of town and ever want to visit Berkeley, come during one of these events and call me up ;).

Go to Europe I want to fuck around before I do (if I ever do) the 9 to 5 bit. Go do something in the Australian wilderness for awhile perhaps. And DEFINATELY, Europe. I want to go because it's inconvenient. It would be so easy for me to settle into a nice-paying job, buy a house, and be stuck in misery for the rest of my life, wondering what could have been. I don't want to do that. I want to be away from everything familiar, to be completely on my own. And, most importantly, I want to get AWAY from America. It would also be cool to live the bum life. I'll appreciate showers and an actual home so much more after all the running around in Europe. So, the plan is to backpack across the continent for a year or so. (Don't know if I should I hit Morocco and other African countries? It would be cool to go to Mecca (wherever that is)). Then, I'll decide which country I want to work in. Should I go home before I settle in Europe? What about all my "stuff" back home? Maybe it'll be good to start over. (Cheap movie rip-off - "it's not until you lose everything that you gain anything"). I want to look as poor as possible in Europe so I won't get mugged. I'm gonna be so dirty. I'll have like 2 outfits, one to dry and one to wear. I hope I can take it. I wonder if it's at all feasible to shower at least every other day. Well, I'll probably get used to it.
Hmm, I'll just stick this on here, too. There are a bunch of stupid little things that would be cool to do when I'm settled in a place (if that ever happens). So here goes...
Figure out a reason to live that doesn't go away when I get bored/tired of it
